Although part of me is absolutely shocked about how fast this summer is racing by, part of me is very excited about the upcoming Dublin weekend events during the busiest month in terms of tourism.


I’m hoping everyone had a great July no matter the weather! August can only top that! The rain just adds to the authentic Irish summer experience… If you’re being optimistic that is!
I can’t promise you a scorching hot August, but what I can promise is that this month will be full of great events!

1. Outdoor Yoga in Dartmouth Square | Every Saturday

Weather permitting, there’s an outdoor yoga session every Saturday morning at 11 a.m. organised by Happenings. Your participation fees go toward the maintenance of this lovely square. This is the most peaceful event of the week. Enjoy!

4. Discover Ireland Dublin Horse Show | 5 – 9 Aug

The Dublin Horse Show in Dublin weekend events

Over 100,000 expected visitors, approximately 1,500 horses in competition, 300 trade exhibitors and a total of €1 million in competition prizes!


The Dublin Horse Show is truly a one-of-a-kind event. We’ll have a stand with Heritage Island on Thursday, come by and receive discount cards and goodies! See you there!


5. The Irish Rock ‘N’ Roll Museum Experience | Every day year-round
